Your Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Greeting customers and providing exceptional service, ensuring a positive experience that keeps them coming back
  • Operating the register, handling cash and credit transactions, and maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Making purchase suggestions and promoting products to customers, driving sales and revenue growth
  • Working with our food program, preparing and serving food and beverages to customers
  • Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, adhering to arenaflex's high standards for appearance and customer satisfaction
  • Providing regular and predictable onsite attendance, ensuring seamless operations and minimizing disruptions
  • Interacting with customers daily, responding to their needs and concerns, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Working collaboratively with a fun and energetic team to accomplish daily tasks and goals, contributing to a positive and productive work environment

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Retail and customer service experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Sales associate or cashiering experience, with a proven track record of meeting sales targets and providing excellent customer service
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in communication, problem-solving, and teamwork
  • Motivation to advance in your career, with a willingness to learn and grow with arenaflex
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • Experience working in a convenience store or retail environment, with knowledge of products and services
  • Basic math skills, with the ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds, with occasional lifting and carrying of heavier objects
  • Physical stamina to stand and walk for up to 8 hours, with occasional bending, twisting, and grasping
  • Ability to work in a team environment, with a positive and supportive attitude

Physical Requirements

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll need to:

  • Stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours, with occasional sitting and breaks
  • Lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead, with occasional lifting and carrying of heavier objects
  • Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level
  • Push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds
  • Bend at the waist with some twisting up to one hour a shift
  • Grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands, requiring eye-hand coordination and occasional climbing of ladders to store and retrieve materials or place and remove signs
