Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our patients, families, and caregivers. You'll work closely with our pharmacy team to ensure that every patient interaction is positive, efficient, and personalized. Your primary focus will be on providing courteous, friendly, and fast service, while also promoting arenaflex's products and services to meet the unique needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and caregivers, ensuring a positive and personalized experience

  • Model and share customer service best practices with all team members to deliver consistent, high-quality service
  • Recommend items for sale to customers, including pharmacy products and services
  • Process prescriptions, handle customer inquiries, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on pharmacy services, products, and industry developments
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and teamwork

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., pharmacy, healthcare administration) preferred

  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a healthcare or retail environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and caregivers
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in electronic medical records and pharmacy software

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a pharmacy or healthcare setting, with knowledge of pharmacy operations and regulations

  • Certification in pharmacy technology or a related field (e.g., Certified Pharmacy Technician)
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds
  • Experience working with electronic medical records and pharmacy software, including Epic and/or Cerner
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement
