Experienced Customer Service Specialist – Retail Sales and Customer Experience

Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
- Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service and building strong relationships with wholesale and retail customers
- Assisting customers in person and over the phone by determining their needs and presenting appropriate products and services
- Processing sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies and procedures
- Following and achieving sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
- Maintaining precise work order files and formulas
- Pulling appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse
- Tinting and mixing products, as needed, to customer specifications
- Stocking shelves and setting up displays
- Cleaning store equipment
- Loading/unloading delivery trucks
- Assisting in making deliveries, as needed
- Maintaining in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas
- Remaining knowledgeable on products offered and discussing available options
- Complying with inventory control procedures
- Suggesting ways to improve sales
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- To be at least 18 years of age
- To be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
- To have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License
- To be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
- To be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, we're looking for candidates with:
- At least a High School diploma or GED
- At least one (1) year experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
- Previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products
- Previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish
