Key Responsibilities:
As a Pharmacy Technician - Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
- Processing prescriptions accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely and effective patient care
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, including demographic information, medication lists, and treatment plans
- Entering data into electronic health records (EHRs) and other systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Assisting pharmacists and other healthcare professionals with patient care tasks, such as medication counseling and education
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the development of policies and procedures
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication
Essential Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Current certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or registration as a Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) in the state of Kentucky
- 1-2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail or hospital setting
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, including prescription processing, medication management, and patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare software systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Preferred Qualifications:

- Knowledge of pharmacy software systems, including Epic and Cerner
- Certification in pharmacy technology or a related field
