As an Immunization Data Entry Specialist (ETS), you will play a vital role in supporting our mission by accurately processing immunization forms, maintaining records, and communicating with students and staff.
Key Responsibilities
As an Immunization Data Entry Specialist (ETS), you will be responsible for:
- Processing immunization forms obtained by upload, e-mail, or mail, ensuring accurate information is entered into our database and maintaining copies of the forms.
- Overseeing student compliance with State and University immunization requirements for over 5,000 students, including visiting students with differing requirements.
- Notifying students via secure patient portal when further immunizations are needed.
- Entering and maintaining immunization medical records.
- Collaborating closely with Immunization coordinators and Immunization nurses to ensure seamless communication and data exchange.
- Communicating with students regarding immunization compliance status.
- Maintaining knowledge of the Georgia Registry of Immunization Transactions and Services.
- Assisting new and returning students with understanding immunization requirements.
- Maintaining all immunization documentation and reviewing for compliance.
- Contacting and liaising with outside organizations as needed.
- Assisting students, parents, and visitors with immunization-related questions and issues.
- Overseeing and generating immunization information, correspondence, and automated immunization notifications.
- Responding to group email box immunization inquiries.
- Overseeing the completion of data input and filing of immunization documentation.
Minimum Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of data entry experience.
- Ability to keyboard or type 45 accurate words per minute.
Preferred Qualifications
* One year (1-year) of experience related to data entry in a health-related field.
- Familiarity with immunization regulations and procedures.
Skills and Competencies
* Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of immunization regulations and procedures.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and data management systems.
