Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced Overnight Call Taker (Customer Service Representative) to join our team in Kenosha, WI. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll be responsible for answering, screening, and directing calls for our entire company, providing exceptional support to our customers, and ensuring seamless communication with multiple departments and EMS personnel. Responsibilities:
As an Overnight Call Taker (Customer Service Representative) at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
- Answering, screening, and directing calls for our entire company in a timely and efficient manner
- Distinguishing the need for emergency transportation and pre-arranging transport for facilities while determining the level of care needed for patients
- Arranging specialty and critical care transportation as needed
- Providing information and assistance for customer service inquiries as needed
- Communicating with multiple departments and EMS personnel to ensure seamless communication and support
- Providing supportive information to customers to assist them in arranging appropriate transport
- Developing effective solutions for customer service issues
- Directing calls to Flight desk as appropriate
- Performing other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A pleasant, professional phone manner with excellent communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a strong ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Typing skills of 30 wpm or better
- Ability to excel in a high-stress environment with a positive attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service
- Adaptability to frequently changing policies and procedures
- Ability to learn policies and procedures for facilities and recognizing when to apply them
- Medical background a plus, but not required
- EMD certification will be required within 1 year of employment
