The Role

As a Chat-Based Youth Mental Health Coach, you'll be responsible for providing on-demand and weekly coaching to young people through our chat platform. You'll use empathy and awareness to support students from diverse and historically marginalized communities, following established protocols and guidelines to ensure the highest level of care. With ongoing training and support, you'll continually learn and adapt to new online platforms and tools, staying up-to-date on the latest best practices in mental health coaching.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide on-demand and weekly coaching to young people through our chat platform

• Use empathy and awareness to support students from diverse and historically marginalized communities
• Follow established protocols, especially during crisis-based chats, with support from licensed Coach Supervisors
• Continually learn and adapt to new online platforms and tools with ongoing training and support

What You'll Need:

* Experience in mental health, youth work, or coaching

• Reliable laptop or computer (no tablets or cell phones) and internet with a minimum 50 mbps download speed
• A quiet, distraction-free workspace
• Must reside & be in the U.S. for the duration of your contract with arenaflex
