Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-centric Teller/Backup Customer Service Representative to join our Plymouth branch team. As a key member of our front-line staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, processing transactions efficiently, and promoting arenaflex products and services. Key Responsibilities

As a Teller/Backup Customer Service Representative, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Processing customer transactions efficiently while providing superior customer service
  • Offering products and service solutions to meet the financial needs of our customers
  • Providing account services to customers, including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, check cashing, and selling cashier's checks
  • Balancing cash drawers and ATMs
  • Scanning teller transactions in preparation for electronic submission
  • Ordering cash for the branch or serving as a backup for cash ordering
  • Answering general customer questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Excellent customer service skills, with a strong focus on building relationships and delivering exceptional experiences
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to use and learn computer-based systems, including our banking software and other technology platforms
  • Cash handling experience, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
