Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-centric Teller/Backup Customer Service Representative to join our Plymouth branch team. As a key member of our front-line staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, processing transactions efficiently, and promoting arenaflex products and services. Key Responsibilities
As a Teller/Backup Customer Service Representative, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Processing customer transactions efficiently while providing superior customer service
- Offering products and service solutions to meet the financial needs of our customers
- Providing account services to customers, including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, check cashing, and selling cashier's checks
- Balancing cash drawers and ATMs
- Scanning teller transactions in preparation for electronic submission
- Ordering cash for the branch or serving as a backup for cash ordering
- Answering general customer questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Excellent customer service skills, with a strong focus on building relationships and delivering exceptional experiences
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to use and learn computer-based systems, including our banking software and other technology platforms
- Cash handling experience, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
