Responsibilities

As a Ramp Agent at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

• Safely lifting, loading, unloading, and transporting baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft, ensuring the safe and timely transportation of cargo and baggage.
• Guiding incoming and departing aircraft from the gate positions to ensure timely connections, ensuring that our customers arrive at their destinations on schedule.
• Safeguarding cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather, taking every precaution to ensure that our customers' belongings are protected.
• Driving and operating ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in congested areas, requiring attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
• Operating baggage scanners and computers to ensure accurate routing of baggage, ensuring that our customers' bags arrive at their destinations quickly and efficiently.

Requirements

To be successful as a Ramp Agent at arenaflex, you'll need to:

• Consistently prioritize safety and security of self, others, and personal data, adhering to our strict safety protocols and procedures.
• Possess a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency, demonstrating a strong foundation in education.
• Be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States, ensuring that you meet the necessary requirements for employment.
• Have a valid driver's license, enabling you to operate ground equipment and vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Proficiency in English is required, ensuring that you can communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Pass a physical ability test (PAT), demonstrating your ability to perform the physical demands of the role.
• Ability to hold airport-specific requirements such as a SIDA Badge and Customs Seal, ensuring that you meet the necessary requirements for working at the airport.
