Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to our customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Demonstrating a strong customer focus, rooted in empathy and understanding
  • Communicating effectively with peers, management, and customers, both verbally and in writing
  • Exercising good judgment and independent decision-making skills, making decisions that are in the best interests of our customers
  • Demonstrating exceptional listening, questioning, call control, and de-escalation techniques
  • Being proactive, having effective time management and organizational skills, and displaying dependability with a solid attendance record
  • Maintaining a secure home office environment that is free from background noise and distractions, and having a reliable private internet connection that meets our technical requirements

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience
  • A strong customer focus, rooted in empathy and understanding
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good judgment and independent decision-making skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ability to maintain a secure home office environment and meet our technical requirements

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Experience working in a customer service role in the financial services industry
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
  • Experience with CRM software and other customer service tools
