Job Summary

As a Customer Service Trainee, you'll be responsible for providing vital support to Medicare and Medicaid eligible members, handling customer service inquiries and problems via telephone, and ensuring all customer communication is clearly documented. You'll interact with customers through various channels, including Chat, Phone, E-mail, and TEAMS, and educate callers to ensure resolution is achieved on first contact. Key Responsibilities

• Provide vital support to Medicare and Medicaid eligible members, ensuring their needs are met with compassion, empathy, and expertise.

  • Handle customer service inquiries and problems via telephone, responding to customer concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure all customer communication is clearly documented, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions.
  • Interact with customers through various channels, including Chat, Phone, E-mail, and TEAMS, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Educate callers to ensure resolution is achieved on first contact, providing clear and concise information and guidance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your customer service skills and knowledge of the healthcare industry.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

  • 1 year experience in a customer service support role required, with a strong track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), with experience using customer relationship management (CRM) software a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently under general supervision and collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously.
  • Ability to talk and type simultaneously in a clear and concise manner while interacting with customers.
  • Must be able to pass required testing, including background checks and proficiency assessments.
