Job Title: Remote Tax Preparer / Filing Partner (Real Estate Focus | PTIN Required) Job Description: Sylvester Tax Advisors is a growing tax advisory firm focused on helping real estate investors legally reduce tax liability and increase overall profitability through strategic tax planning, bookkeeping, and financial systems. We are currently expanding and looking for experienced tax preparers and filing partners who can deliver accurate, timely, and high-quality work. This is a remote, contractor-based opportunity with consistent work available for qualified professionals. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare individual and business tax returns (1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S, etc.)
- Review financial data for accuracy and completeness
- Identify missing information and communicate with internal team
- Ensure timely completion of returns within set deadlines
- Maintain compliance with all applicable tax regulations and standards Requirements:
- Active PTIN (required)
- EFIN (preferred for filing partners)
- 2+ years of tax preparation experience
- Experience preparing multiple return types
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines consistently
- Experience working with real estate clients is a strong plus Preferred Software Experience:
- ProConnect
- ProSeries
- Drake
- UltraTax
- Or similar professional tax software Compensation: Compensation is performance-based per return / per client, with the ability to earn between $60,000–$150,000+ annually depending on volume, experience, and efficiency.
