Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Technician Data Entry Specialist – Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including order entry, customer service, and data management. You'll work closely with our pharmacy team to ensure accurate and timely dispensing of medications, while providing exceptional customer service to our patients and clients. This is a remote opportunity, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform order entry tasks, including verifying patient information and medication orders

• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure accurate and timely dispensing of medications
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and clients, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
• Triage customer service requests, prioritizing urgent issues and providing accurate information and support
• Calculate and verify correct dosages based on prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Assist in reviewing narcotic prescriptions to ensure timely and accurate processing
• Create and maintain accurate customer records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulatory requirements

Essential Qualifications

* Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law

• One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or working in a call center
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in software applications

Preferred Qualifications

* Prior experience in the long-term care industry

• PTCB National Certification
• Education: Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
