Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-centric individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative on our 2nd shift. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing value-added customer service, ensuring customer instructions and inquiries are fulfilled according to customer specifications, and performing various duties to support our operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Responding to all customer inquiries in a courteous and effective manner, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of issues
  • Verifying information against bills of lading, picking tickets, invoices, orders, or other documents and records to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Preparing special shipping labels for identifying cartons when needed
  • Processing Dock Receipts for incoming shipments, recording exceptions, and communicating this information to the customer
  • Answering customer queries regarding inventories and availability of freight
  • Coordinating shipping methods upon customer request
  • Providing customer service to drivers for merchandise pickup and delivery
  • Processing receiving and shipping documentation
  • Responsible for data entry using Excel spreadsheets with utmost accuracy
  • Invoicing customers for services rendered

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma
  • Ability to perform each essential duty and follow simple instructions
  • Dependable and self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, demanding environment
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Minimum six months of experience as a CSR in Distribution/Warehousing/Logistics/3PL

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Previous experience in a similar role with a logistics or distribution company
  • Strong knowledge of logistics and distribution processes
  • Experience with inventory management and control
  • Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide support to colleagues as needed
