Experienced Customer Service Representative – Mobile Pet Grooming Industry

Job Summary
We're seeking a responsible, friendly, and detail-oriented individual to manage customer service tasks, book appointments for multiple groomers' schedules, and make on-the-spot scheduling changes when groomers call in sick or customers need to cancel appointments. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be the primary point of contact for our customers, responding to their requests through text messages, emails, phone calls, and social media messages.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond to new and returning customers' requests through various communication channels (text messages, emails, phone calls, and social media messages)
- Schedule, reschedule, or cancel grooming appointments for customers (or our groomers in the case of call-offs for sick days, rescheduling due to traffic, vehicle issues, grooming delays, etc.)
- Manage multiple groomers' schedules and make on-the-spot scheduling changes as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for our customers and their pets
- Report to the Office Manager and Owner of the company
- Participate in monthly team bonding activities (optional)
Essential Qualifications
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service and client support abilities
- Proficient in data entry and computer skills, including smartphones and apps
- Familiarity with phone etiquette and outbound calling practices
- Multilingual or bilingual skills are a plus, but not required
Preferred Qualifications
* Prior experience in customer service and/or the pet grooming industry
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with CRM software and scheduling tools
