Key Responsibilities:
As an Experienced Customer Service/Sales Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
- Providing fast, friendly service to customers, actively seeking out opportunities to assess their needs and provide assistance
- Learning about products using our tools and providing information to customers to sell entire projects
- Greeting, qualifying, recommending, and closing every customer in your department, as well as handling basics in adjacent departments
- Maintaining the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe
- Providing a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies & standards, completing specified safety training, and reporting hazards or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty
- Working in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department, as well as other departments
- Meeting sales targets and contributing to the growth of your department
- Staying up-to-date with product knowledge, promotions, and sales strategies to provide exceptional customer service and drive sales growth
Essential Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service, sales, or a related field
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively
- Strong product knowledge and sales skills, with a passion for learning and staying up-to-date with industry trends
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in a retail or sales environment, with a focus on customer service and sales growth
- Knowledge of building materials, hardware, or other related products
- Certification in sales, customer service, or a related field
- Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds
