Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Loss Prevention Customer Service Associate II to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our Loss Prevention team, you'll play a critical role in preventing potential loss and dishonesty, while also providing exceptional customer service and supporting our store teams. If you're a motivated and results-driven individual with a passion for retail and customer service, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

As a Loss Prevention Customer Service Associate II, you'll be responsible for:

  • Maintaining a proper and professional stance in the designated area at the front of the store, acting as a visual deterrent to prevent potential loss and dishonesty
  • Reviewing and understanding the Store Emergency Response Guide to ensure your safety and the safety of others
  • Wearing a complete arenaflex-approved uniform, including a Body Worn Camera, to maintain a professional appearance and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Greeting customers appropriately, demonstrating courtesy and respect, and establishing and maintaining a position at the front of the store or in a department
  • Responding to customer requests for assistance by referring customers to store management or customer service via a company-issued radio
  • Observing and reporting any suspicious behavior or critical incidents to Loss Prevention or store management
  • Performing a closing safety sweep of the store with a member of management to ensure the store is secure and safe
  • Adhering to all arenaflex policies and procedures, including documenting required incidents in AIIM Case Management
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
  • Sound decision-making skills, with the ability to exercise judgment and make informed decisions in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Ability to take initiative and perform well independently, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering exceptional results
  • Prioritization and organizational skills, with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a dynamic retail environment
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, with a strong physical presence and a commitment to maintaining a professional appearance
  • 0-2 years of retail or security experience, with a strong understanding of loss prevention principles and practices

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset in this role:

  • Experience working in a retail or security environment, with a strong understanding of loss prevention principles and practices
  • Knowledge of AIIM Case Management and other loss prevention software systems
  • Certification in loss prevention or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address potential loss and dishonesty
