Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Operator to join our team and play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our corporate databases and computer systems. As a Data Entry Operator, you'll be responsible for collecting and entering data from source documents, organizing information, performing research, and reviewing data for deficiencies or errors. You'll also be expected to work collaboratively with our team to ensure the smooth operation of our database management and administration processes.

Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Operator at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Data Entry: Perform input of customer and account data from source documents, in text-based and numerical information form.
  • Data Organization: Organize information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry.
  • Research: Perform research to find further information if needed.
  • Data Review: Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible, and check the output.
  • Data Solutions: Use appropriate data solutions, techniques, and procedures in order to optimize the data entry activities.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations.
  • Document Management: Perform scanning and printing of documents.
  • Information Access: Respond to queries for information and access relevant files.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure the adherence to corporate policies of data integrity and security and keep the corporate information confidential.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the proper usage of office equipment and report any problems.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Experience: 2+ years' experience working as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk position.
  • Administrative Skills: Solid experience with administrative duties as well as office equipment usage.
  • Technical Skills: Good practical experience with MS Office and data management software.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy, high typing speed, and close attention to detail.
  • Organization Skills: Strong organization skills, good responsibility, and confidentiality.
  • Education: High school diploma; additional computer training or certification will be a bonus.

Home Office Requirements

To ensure the success of our remote work setup, you'll need to meet the following home office requirements:

  • Internet Connection: Stable internet connection with at least 50 Mbps postpaid (must provide a screenshot of a speed test).
  • Computer: Computer (at least 16GB RAM and Intel i5 core processor equivalent or above).
  • Noise Cancelling Headset: Noise Cancelling Headset.
  • Backup Internet Connection: Backup Internet Connection (Prepaid Home WIFI Router or Pocket WIFI) and Power Outage Backup.
  • Dual Monitor: Dual Monitor.
