Responsibilities
As an Associate Gold Customer Service Representative, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and supporting our independent agents. Your responsibilities will include:
- Helping customers in their time of need by building rapport, responding to, and resolving inbound phone calls in a fast-paced call center environment
- Identifying and providing services and solutions to customers' questions regarding renewals, coverage, eligibility, billing, and policy changes
- Delivering expertise by identifying and analyzing customer and agent needs to ensure high satisfaction, growth, and retention of business
- Providing counsel, guidance, and suggestions to customers to adequately cover and protect what they value most
- Upholding our customer care standards by achieving individual goals on call quality, handle time, lead transfer ratio, adherence, first call resolution, and reliability
- Maintaining and tracking accurate data in various computer systems
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An Associate's degree in a business-related field or equivalent training
- A minimum of 6 months related work experience, with customer service experience preferred
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, and the capacity to multi-task in a structured work environment
- Ability to review, record, and organize written data from a variety of sources with no pre-established format
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office tools
- Knowledge and ability to use various computer systems
- Ability to handle confidential and proprietary information
- Clear understanding of the organization's policies, standards, and procedures to guide customer interactions
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in a call center environment
- Knowledge of the insurance industry and its products and services
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Environment
As a customer-facing role, you will be required to work in a call center environment, responding to inbound phone calls and interacting with customers and agents. You will also be required to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, with schedules starting between 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. EST.
Paid Training
Mandatory attendance is critical to your success, and as such, is required for the duration of training. Training is Monday-Friday, 10:00 a.m.-6:30 p.m. EST.
