Your Role
As a Customer Engineering Summer Intern at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in supporting process improvement and product integration, enhancing decision-making and customer satisfaction. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting Process Improvements: Collaborate with our team to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes that enhance customer satisfaction and product quality.
- Product Integration: Work closely with our Subject Matter Experts and VPI Teams to ensure seamless product integration and delivery.
- Customer Relationship Development: Develop strong relationships with customer technical counterparts to facilitate technical information exchange and ensure that customer needs are met.
- Functional Product Requirements: Translate customer needs into functional product requirements, ensuring that our products meet the evolving needs of our customers.
- Product Application and Installation: Ensure correct product application and installation, and validate prototype performance and installation quality.
- Issue Resolution: Resolve issues for moderately complex components and systems, and execute established work processes and systems.
- Team Collaboration: Contribute to team goals and develop critical competencies, working collaboratively with our team to achieve success.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Technical Customer Management Skills: Proven ability to manage customer relationships and communicate effectively with technical counterparts.
- Product Application Support Experience: Experience supporting product application and installation, with a strong understanding of product integration and quality.
- Machine Integration Knowledge: Strong knowledge of machine integration and operation, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Product Installation Quality Expertise: Expertise in product installation quality, with a strong understanding of quality control processes and procedures.
- Product Selection and Problem Solving Abilities: Proven ability to select and troubleshoot products, with a strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Machine Operation and Support Skills: Strong knowledge of machine operation and support, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Customer Focus and Decision Quality: Strong customer focus and decision quality, with the ability to make informed decisions that meet customer needs.
- Ability to Drive Results, Collaborate, and Communicate Effectively: Proven ability to drive results, collaborate with team members, and communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders.
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD Program in Engineering: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program in Engineering, with a strong academic record and a passion for learning.
- Minimum 2.5 GPA Preferred: Minimum 2.5 GPA preferred, with a strong academic record and a passion for learning.
- Ability to Commit to a 10-12 Week Internship, 40 Hours per Week: Ability to commit to a 10-12 week internship, working 40 hours per week and contributing to team goals and objectives.
