Key Responsibilities

As an Insurance Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for managing shared email inboxes, answering customer phone calls, preparing and processing documents, and ensuring the overall smooth operation of insurance services. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing Shared Email Inboxes: Maintain and manage a shared email inbox, responding to inquiries, forwarding relevant information, and ensuring timely follow-ups.
  • Answering Customer Phone Calls: Answer inbound phone calls, addressing client needs, providing policy information, and offering excellent customer service.
  • Preparing and Processing Documents: Assist in preparing, reviewing, and organizing insurance documents for customers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Assisting with Policy Renewals: Assist with policy renewals, endorsements, and cancellations as needed.
  • Coordinating with Other Departments: Coordinate with other departments to resolve customer issues and provide comprehensive support.
  • Providing Administrative Assistance: Provide administrative assistance to the operations team, including document filing, data entry, and other clerical duties as required.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's degree or higher is preferred.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in insurance, customer service, or administrative support is a plus.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for success in this role.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are required to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Multitasking: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Compensation and Perks

As an Insurance Customer Service Representative, you'll be rewarded with:

  • Competitive Hourly Rate: $19.00 to $21.00 per hour.
  • Comprehensive Benefits Package: Access to a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and a 401K plan.
