Key Responsibilities:
As a part-time Pharmacy Technician and Customer Service Representative, your primary responsibilities will include:
Customer Service:
+ Respond to customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide exceptional service via phone, email, or in-person. + Clarify orders, verify patient information, and ensure accurate processing of prescriptions. + Utilize strong communication skills to build rapport with customers, address concerns, and provide solutions.
Pharmacy Operations:
+ Perform duties assigned by the Data Entry Manager, including data entry, order processing, and inventory management. + Triage incoming faxes, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in accordance with cutoff times. + Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure efficient order processing, accurate medication dispensing, and exceptional patient care.
Administrative Tasks:
+ Maintain accurate records, update patient information, and perform other administrative duties as needed. + Participate in quality improvement initiatives, provide feedback, and contribute to process enhancements.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
Licensure and Certification:
+ Active NJ Board of Pharmacy, Pharmacy Technician License. + High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience:
+ Previous experience in pharmacy, with a focus on customer service and communication. + LTC pharmacy experience a plus, but not required.
Skills and Competencies:
+ Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask. + Moderate to advanced computer skills, including proficiency in data entry software and electronic medical records (EMRs). + Excellent telephone etiquette, communication, and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Familiarity with frameworks and ECM knowledge a plus. + Experience with pharmacy software, including data entry and order processing systems.
