Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Guiding Customers: Assist franchised distributor customers in selecting the right automotive tools and toolboxes, ensuring they have the best solutions for their needs.
  • Handling Inquiries: Handle inbound calls, providing pricing details, part numbers, and troubleshooting issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Providing Technical Support: Offer information and specifications from the arenaflex catalog to customers, providing expert advice on our products and services.
  • Order Management: Input orders accurately using internal software systems, ensuring seamless communication with the Customer Service team.
  • Collaboration and Problem-Solving: Work with the Customer Service team to resolve challenges and ensure effective communication. Engage with subject matter experts across departments for cross-functional problem-solving.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the team and drive business growth.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Flexible Schedule: Be available to work from 10:00 AM-6:30 PM ET, Monday to Friday.
  • Call Center Experience: At least 1 year of call center experience or equivalent customer service experience is required.
  • Automotive Knowledge: On-the-job experience with general automotive mechanics is a plus. ASE certification, automotive experience, tool familiarity, or a related trade school degree is also highly valued.
  • Technical Skills: Intermediate PC and keyboard skills are essential. Strong verbal and written communication skills are also required.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to interpret customer issues and troubleshoot effectively.
  • Professional Demeanor: Maintain a professional demeanor while understanding customer concerns.
  • Adaptability: Quick learning ability and adaptability in a fast-paced environment are essential.
  • Phone Etiquette: Strong phone etiquette is required to provide excellent customer service.

Nice-to-Haves

While not required, the following skills and experience are highly valued:

  • Automotive Knowledge: Automotive knowledge and experience are highly valued.
  • Tool Familiarity: Familiarity with tools and equipment used in automotive service is also a plus.
