Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and security of our company databases and systems. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Data Entry: Accurately input data from various sources (forms, documents, surveys, etc.) into company databases, spreadsheets, or software systems, ensuring high-quality data integrity and adherence to deadlines.
  • Data Maintenance: Update and maintain company records and files to ensure the data remains current, complete, and accurate, and to identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Quality Control: Review entered data for errors or inconsistencies, correct data discrepancies, and ensure high-quality data integrity, adhering to all data protection and privacy regulations.
  • Document Management: Organize, scan, and file both physical and electronic documents for easy access and retrieval, maintaining confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Reporting: Assist in preparing reports by extracting and compiling data as needed by management or other departments, ensuring timely and accurate data transfer.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (such as HR, finance, or customer service) to ensure the timely and accurate transfer of data, fostering strong communication and teamwork.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve data entry efficiency or accuracy and recommend solutions to enhance overall workflow, contributing to the continuous improvement of our processes.
  • Adherence to Deadlines: Meet deadlines for data entry tasks, often handling high-volume entries under time constraints, and maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in data management or office administration is a plus.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a data entry role, office support, or similar position (experience in the industry is a plus).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), Google Sheets, and data management systems; experience with data entry software is a plus.
  • Attention to Detail: A high level of accuracy and attention to detail in entering and verifying data, with a strong focus on quality control and data integrity.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with colleagues and other departments, fostering effective collaboration and teamwork.
