Key Responsibilities
As an Inbound Energy Customer Care Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Answering customer calls professionally, responding to inquiries, and resolving complaints in a timely and effective manner
- Focusing on customer retention through proactive communication, issue resolution, and personalized support
- Providing customers with clear explanations of our service standards, policies, and procedures
- Identifying and escalating priority issues to high-level management, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing customer impact
- Routing inbound calls to the most suitable resources, ensuring seamless customer experience
- Following up on complicated customer calls, ensuring resolution and satisfaction
- Completing call notes and call reports, updating CRM records as necessary
- Gathering and evaluating relevant data to handle and document customer complaints and inquiries
- Recording details of customer interactions, including comments, inquiries, complaints, and actions taken
- Performing other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual skills (a plus)
- Some experience in sales and customer service
- Excellent verbal communication skills, with proper grammar and tone
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Some experience with MS Excel (a plus)
- The ability to remain calm and composed in escalated situations, providing effective solutions and support
