Key Responsibilities

As an Inbound Energy Customer Care Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Answering customer calls professionally, responding to inquiries, and resolving complaints in a timely and effective manner
  • Focusing on customer retention through proactive communication, issue resolution, and personalized support
  • Providing customers with clear explanations of our service standards, policies, and procedures
  • Identifying and escalating priority issues to high-level management, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing customer impact
  • Routing inbound calls to the most suitable resources, ensuring seamless customer experience
  • Following up on complicated customer calls, ensuring resolution and satisfaction
  • Completing call notes and call reports, updating CRM records as necessary
  • Gathering and evaluating relevant data to handle and document customer complaints and inquiries
  • Recording details of customer interactions, including comments, inquiries, complaints, and actions taken
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Bilingual skills (a plus)
  • Some experience in sales and customer service
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with proper grammar and tone
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Some experience with MS Excel (a plus)
  • The ability to remain calm and composed in escalated situations, providing effective solutions and support
