Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth in our stores. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting customers, running the register, and providing fast and friendly service
  • Making purchase suggestions and working with our food program to drive sales and customer engagement
  • Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, both inside and out
  • Providing regular and predictable onsite attendance to ensure seamless customer service
  • Interacting with customers daily, building strong relationships, and resolving any issues or concerns
  • Working collaboratively with a fun, energetic team to accomplish daily tasks and goals
  • Providing excellent customer care, communication, and friendly conversation to drive customer loyalty and retention

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Retail and customer service experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Sales associate or cashiering experience, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and customer engagement
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong focus on customer service and communication skills
  • Motivation to advance in your career, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:

  • Previous experience in a retail or convenience store environment, with a focus on customer service and sales growth
  • Strong knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management, cash handling, and customer service procedures
  • Experience working with a point-of-sale system, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think quickly and offer creative solutions

Physical Requirements

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll need to be able to:

  • Stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours, with regular breaks to rest and recharge
  • Lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead up to 30 minutes in a shift, with occasional lifting and/or carrying up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level
  • Push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds, with regular use of a cash register and other equipment
  • Bend at the waist with some twisting up to one hour a shift, with regular use of a cash register and other equipment
  • Grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands, with regular use of a cash register and other equipment
