Key Responsibilities
As a Remote Customer Service Representative with arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
- Processing billing calls, investigating meter reads, and resolving billing accuracy or payment issues
- Handling emergency calls and providing timely support to customers in need
- Processing customer move-ins, adds, and transfers, as well as refunds, compensation requests, and changes to accounts
- Routing escalated customer issues for resolution and making referrals to special programs, such as Energy Assistance, CRISIS, Dollar Energy, or other programs
- Processing order inquiry calls, initiating service orders, and providing service order status updates
- Assisting customers with credit/payment arrangements and directing them to self-service channels as necessary
- Meeting individual deadlines, metrics, and team goals, while multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively
- Working cooperatively in a group environment to achieve common goals and promoting a positive work environment
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year of Customer Service experience
- Computer skills, including navigating multiple tabs, windows, and systems
- The ability to type a minimum of 25 WPM (Word Per Minute)
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- For bilingual candidates: Must possess solid written skills in English and Spanish and must speak fluent English and Spanish
- Must be 18 years of age or older
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications will be advantageous:
- 2-3 Year(s) Call Center and/or Customer Service Experience
- 2-5 years previous customer service work from home experience
- Utility experience
- Advanced computer skills, including navigating multiple tabs, windows, and systems
- Ability to type 60-65 WPM (Words Per Minute)
Living Requirements
To be eligible for this role, you must reside 80 miles or less from one of the arenaflex facilities located in:
- arenaflex of Ohio, (290 W Nationwide Blvd, Columbus, OH 43215)
- arenaflex of Pennsylvania, (12 Sandstone Way, Dunbar, PA 15431)
Work From Home Office Requirements
As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you will be required to:
- Maintain high-speed wired internet access (75mpbs download and 15mpbs upload) that is hardwired-No Wi-Fi or Satellite Internet
- Work in a secure, private location with proper, ergonomic office equipment (computer desk and computer chair) and setup
- Have a smartphone to download a VPN app on your personal device
- Be available from 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. and able to attend 100% of the 13-week training program
- Punctual attendance is essential as it guarantees consistent service delivery and reliability for our customers
Compensation and Benefits
arenaflex offers a competitive salary range of $34,400.00 - $48,200.00, based on several factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's skills, job-related knowledge, and relevant experience, as well as internal pay equity. Additionally, you will be eligible for a one-time sign-on bonus of $500 for Traditional CSR role and $22.20 per hour with an additional one-time $500 sign-on bonus for Bilingual CSR role.
