Job Summary

We are seeking experienced and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Remote Customer Service Representatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our customers through various channels, including phone, email, and chat. You will be the face of arenaflex, and your interactions with customers will shape their experience with our company.

Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Processing billing calls, investigating meter read and other requests relating to billing accuracy or payment
  • Handling emergency calls and providing timely and effective solutions to customers
  • Processing customer move-ins, adds, and transfers, as well as refunds, compensation requests, and changes to accounts
  • Routing escalated customer issues for resolution and making referrals to special programs such as Energy Assistance, CRISIS, Dollar Energy, or other programs as necessary
  • Processing order inquiry calls, initiating service orders, and providing service order status updates
  • Assisting customers with credit/payment arrangements and directing them to self-service channels as necessary
  • Meeting individual deadlines, metrics, and team goals, while multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks effectively
  • Working cooperatively in a group environment to achieve common goals and promoting a positive work environment

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • One (1) year of customer service experience
  • Computer skills, including navigating multiple tabs, windows, and systems
  • The ability to type a minimum of 25 WPM (Word Per Minute)
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • For bilingual candidates, the ability to speak fluent English and Spanish and possess solid written skills in English and Spanish
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Preferred Qualifications

* 2-3 years of call center and/or customer service experience

  • 2-5 years of previous customer service work from home experience
  • Utility experience
  • Advanced computer skills, including navigating multiple tabs, windows, and systems
  • The ability to type 60-65 WPM (Words Per Minute)

Work Environment and Requirements

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you will be working from home and will be required to:

  • Maintain high-speed wired internet access (75mpbs download and 15mpbs upload) that is hardwired, with no Wi-Fi or satellite internet
  • Have a secure, private location for work, with proper, ergonomic office equipment (computer desk and computer chair) and setup
  • Have a smartphone to download a VPN app on your personal device
  • Be available from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. and able to attend 100% of the 13-week training program
  • Punctual attendance is essential, as it guarantees consistent service delivery and reliability for our customers

Compensation and Benefits

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you will be offered a competitive salary range of $34,400.00 - $48,200.00, based on your skills, job-related knowledge, and relevant experience, as well as internal pay equity. You will also be eligible for a one-time $500 sign-on bonus for the Traditional CSR role and a one-time $500 sign-on bonus for the Bilingual CSR role.
