Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Retail Department Coordinator – Customer Service to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our retail team, you'll play a vital role in promoting an exceptional customer experience and driving business growth. Key Responsibilities:

Create a Positive Customer Experience: Develop and maintain a customer-centric approach, ensuring that every customer interaction is positive, engaging, and memorable.

  • Lead by Example: Model outstanding customer service, demonstrating a deep understanding of our customers' needs and preferences.
  • Train and Mentor Associates: Provide guidance and support to front-end Associates, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge in customer service and loyalty programs.
  • Assign Registers and Support POS Coverage: Ensure seamless register coverage, responding to POS needs and coordinating breaks for all Associates.
  • Address Customer Concerns: Promptly address customer issues and concerns, ensuring a positive customer experience and resolving problems efficiently.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate accurately and effectively with management and Associates, setting priorities and providing progress updates.
  • Promote Credit and Loyalty Programs: Develop and implement strategies to promote credit and loyalty programs, driving business growth and customer engagement.
  • Support Shrink Reduction Goals: Collaborate with management to achieve store shrink reduction goals and programs, maintaining a safe and secure environment.
  • Maintain a Safe Environment: Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe environment, adhering to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.

Who We're Looking For:

Availability: Available to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends.

  • Retail Experience: 1 year of retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
  • Strong Communication and Organizational Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Team Player: A team player with a strong ability to work effectively with peers and supervisors.
  • Training and Development: Able to train others and provide constructive feedback.

Competitive Salary: A competitive salary, with a starting pay range of $17.50 to $18.00 per hour.
