Job Description

As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for the accurate layout and transportation of complex analyses, reporting answers, and packages to meet business needs. You will interact closely with internal clients and coworkers in the development of reporting and analytic solutions, as well as software design. Your primary objectives will include:

  • Collaborating with internal partners and agencies in the design and development of reporting solutions, analytic research, and packages to guide business needs.
  • Developing, validating, and executing complex queries, developing complex reports, and performing complex data analysis that answers business questions for internal clients; translating results, and making recommendations to business areas based on findings.
  • Designing and developing packages for internal clients.
  • Evaluating data needs of assigned projects, ensuring data integrity and suitability, and determining data series methods, metrics definitions, and assessment methods.
  • Turning data into actionable insights through reporting solutions.
  • Troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Presenting analysis and reports to internal clients and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • 2 – 4+ years of experience in most of the following:

+ Experience with Microsoft Access (manipulating forms, tables, queries, etc.), Excel, Visual Basic for Applications + Experience with reporting platform – SQL Server Integrated Services (SSIS), + Development Programming Languages / Knowledge / Experience – ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript + Development Database Languages / Knowledge / Experience – Transact SQL + Database Knowledge / Experience – MS SQL Server

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience with reporting platform – WEBI (SAP BI Launchpad).
  • Knowledge of arenaflex systems, databases, and underlying data structures (e.g., ACAS, HMO, HRP, etc.).
  • Database Knowledge / Experience – Hadoop, Oracle.
  • Development Database Languages / Knowledge / Experience – Oracle PLSQL.
  • Crystal Reporting experience preferred.

Required Education

You must possess a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or an equivalent related field of study.
