Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Technician – Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for supporting the Specialty Mail Request team in their mission to provide high-quality care to our patients. Your primary duties will include:

• Data Entry: Utilize your exceptional data entry skills to accurately and efficiently process patient information, prescriptions, and other relevant data.
• Pharmacy Operations: Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless pharmacy operations, including processing prescriptions, managing inventory, and maintaining accurate records.
• Communication: Develop and maintain strong relationships with doctors, insurance agencies, and other stakeholders to resolve cases, address concerns, and provide exceptional customer service.
• Problem-Solving: Employ critical thinking skills to resolve complex issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective solutions.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Specialty Mail Request team to achieve shared goals, provide support, and contribute to a positive team dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

* Process patient information, prescriptions, and other relevant data with high accuracy and efficiency

• Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless pharmacy operations
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with doctors, insurance agencies, and other stakeholders
• Resolve cases, address concerns, and provide exceptional customer service
• Employ critical thinking skills to resolve complex issues and implement effective solutions
• Work closely with the Specialty Mail Request team to achieve shared goals and contribute to a positive team dynamic

Essential Qualifications

* Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred

• Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician; experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment an asset
• Certifications: Pharmacy Technician certification in the state of GA; PTCB certification preferred
• Skills: Excellent data entry skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team environment, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in computer software applications

Preferred Qualifications

* Specialty Pharmacy Experience: Experience working in a specialty pharmacy environment; knowledge of specialty pharmacy operations and procedures an asset

• Prescription Settlement Experience: Experience working with prescribers to resolve case status and survey solution guarantee issues; knowledge of prescription settlement procedures an asset
