Job Summary
As a Senior Data Engineer at arenaflex, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines and applications that support our business operations and drive business growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs. You will also be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our data, as well as identifying opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop large-scale data pipelines and applications that support business operations and drive business growth
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs
- Ensure the quality and integrity of our data, including data normalization, data quality, and data governance
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation, and develop and implement solutions to address those opportunities
- Collaborate with data science teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions that drive business growth and innovation
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and standards for data engineering practices and processes
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality code and best practices
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and identify opportunities for arenaflex to leverage those technologies to drive business growth and innovation
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in Python, SQL, and cloud-based platforms
- Experience with cloud-based platforms, including GCP, AWS, or Azure
- Strong communication, decision-making, and critical thinking skills
- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance
- Experience with big data technologies, including Hadoop, Hive, or PySpark
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies
- Experience with healthcare industry data and applications
- Experience with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
