What You'll Do

As a Customer Support Representative on our Veterinary Assistance team, you'll:

• Connect directly with veterinary facilities to arrange prescription approvals, resolve client issues, and explain order requests
• Conduct thorough examinations and issue resolution to determine suitable solutions for clients and center partners, and follow up as needed to resolve issues
• Complete accurate data entry of solutions into arenaflex's healthcare software
• Maintain a high level of quality through data entry and order handling of veterinary pharmacy orders
• Work with empathy, attention to detail, patience, compassion, and thoughtfulness to clients and partners alike
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow with our team, sharing feedback and receiving input in a culture of continuous improvement
• Communicate with veterinary facilities via telephone (and occasionally other channels) with various topics, primarily using our internal program and systems to explore solutions and record center note accounts, requiring attention to detail
• Expect a significant portion of the typical business day to be spent on outbound veterinary facility/client telephone contacts

What You'll Need

To succeed in this role, you'll need to:

• Exhibit exceptional communication skills (written, verbal, and listening)
• Demonstrate the ability to multitask (e.g., chat on the phone while exploring on the computer and taking notes)
• Work with ownership, be a self-starter, and stand out with attention to detail
• Have proficiency with Microsoft Outlook
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Be able to obtain a Pharmacy Technician License from the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy where applicable
• Demonstrate decisive reasoning skills
• Show the ability to perform multiple tasks and excel in a fast-paced environment
• Be adaptable to change as per the business needs of the organization
• Be flexible with your schedule and willing to stay at work longer than required depending on the situation by the specialty unit
• Demonstrate the ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information
• Pass a personal background check
• Be punctual and committed to being your best
