Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Evening Specimen Processor - Data Entry - Part-Time to join our team in West Houston, TX. This part-time role (25 hours) will be working during the third shift, and you will play a vital part in the patient care process by ensuring laboratory specimens are properly received and routed for testing. Your attention to detail, typing proficiency, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will make you an excellent fit for this role.
Key Responsibilities
As an Evening Specimen Processor - Data Entry - Part-Time, your key responsibilities will include: - Performing a vital part of the patient care process: Ensure laboratory specimens are properly received and routed for testing, maintaining the highest level of quality and accuracy. - Data entry and quality control: Accurately enter lab requests, double-check test orders, and recognize when corrective action is needed to maintain the highest level of quality and accuracy. - Working in a laboratory environment: Work in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and PPE requirements, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines. - Championing safety, compliance, and quality control: Ensure a safe and compliant work environment, adhering to all regulatory requirements and arenaflex's quality control standards. - Helping patients without being face-to-face: Provide exceptional patient care through accurate and timely data entry, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need: - High School Diploma or equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position. - Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills: Excellent reading, writing, and analytical skills are essential for this role, as you will be working with laboratory specimens and data entry. - Typing proficiency, including 10-key: Proficiency in typing, including 10-key, is required for this role, as you will be entering data and performing other tasks that require typing. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment: The ability to work in a fast-paced environment is essential for this role, as you will be working in a laboratory setting with biological hazards and PPE requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
