Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will work on complex issues, evaluating conditions or facts that require an in-depth assessment of multiple factors. You will lead and/or provide guidance to project teams, participate in cross-functional projects, and provide path and steerage to system upgrades, along with supporting to establish/advocate on policies. You will work with outside vendors, supporting them to provide powerful answers and insights. You will use impartial judgment within widely described rules and practices, along with figuring out the exceptional technique for carrying out work.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble large, complicated units of data that meet non-practical and practical business requirements

• Identify, design, and implement internal system upgrades, along with redesigning infrastructure for extra scalability, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes
• Build required infrastructure for final extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various data sources using AWS and SQL technologies
• Build analytical tools to utilize the data pipeline, providing actionable insights into key business performance metrics, operational performance, and customer acquisition
• Work with stakeholders, including data, design, product, and executive groups, and support them with data-related technical issues
• Work with stakeholders, including the Executive, Product, Data, and Design groups, to help their data infrastructure needs while supporting data-related technical issues
• Generate or adapt tools and technology to serve individual needs
• May perform other job responsibilities as directed by Employee's Leaders

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of the practical application of engineering technology and technology, along with applying standards, techniques, procedures, and tools to the design and manufacturing of various products and services

• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and standards used in the manufacturing of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models
• Ability to apply common sense and reasoning to recognize the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or methods to issues
• Ability to understand the results of the latest data for each current and future problem-solving and decision-making
• Skilled in understanding complex issues and reviewing associated data to develop and examine alternatives and implement solutions
• Ability to inform when something is incorrect or is likely to go wrong. It does not contain fixing the problem, only spotting there may be a problem
• Ability to combine parts of data to form preferred guidelines or conclusions (includes finding a relationship amongst apparently unrelated events)
• Ability to shift back and forth between or more tasks or sources of data (includes speech, sounds, touch, or other sources)
• Ability to establish matters or movements in a certain order or pattern in accordance with a specific rule or set of rules (e.g., styles of numbers, letters, words, pictures, mathematical operations)
• Ability to recognize or find an acknowledged pattern (a figure, object, word, or sound) is hidden in other distracting material

Required Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field; or equivalent formal training

Required Experience

• Advanced degree experience, pro and specialized knowledge in:

• Cloud infrastructure, DataLake
• ETL experience ensuring supply to target data integrity
• Various filetypes (Delimited Text, Fixed Width, XML, JSON, Parque)
• ServiceBus, setting up ingress and egress within a subscription, or applicable AWS Cloud services administrative experience
• Unit Testing, Code Quality tools, CI/CD Technologies, Security, and Container Technologies
• Agile development experience and Agile ceremonies and practices

Pay and Benefits

arenaflex offers a competitive market salary from $137,250 per year to $152,500 per year based on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and presented at the discretion of the company. arenaflex also offers:
