Fractional CMO — Lifestyle & Travel Tech
Meydenbauer Partners is seeking an experienced Fractional Chief Marketing Officer to lead marketing strategy for a growth-stage lifestyle and travel application focused on city tours and immersive local experiences. This is an advisory engagement with meaningful strategic ownership and a defined near-term mandate to drive city traction ahead of a significant summer 2026 demand window. Scope of Responsibility:
- Marketing strategy and four-city go-to-market focus (New York, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Boston)
- Brand voice partnership with the founder, building on a fully developed StoryBrand-based messaging foundation
- Outreach strategy across tourism boards, media organizations, and city stakeholders. Daily execution remains with our demand generation team.
- Video creative direction across hero polish and city-specific story cuts. Hands-on editing is handled by a separate vendor.
- Monthly one-page GTM plan, partnership target list, and message architecture
Candidate Profile:
- Seven or more years in consumer marketing, ideally within lifestyle, travel, hospitality, or experiential technology
- Demonstrated track record building partnership-led growth motions (media, tourism, brand collaborations) rather than pure paid acquisition
- Comfort directing strategy across multiple channels (organic, partnerships, content) without ownership of daily execution
- Experience working with founder-led teams and partnering on brand voice development
- Self-directed working style suited to fractional engagements

- Three-month initial commitment with extension based on traction
