Responsibilities and Duties

As a Customer Service / Cafe Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch customer service to internal and external customers, including:

  • Greeting customers in a friendly, professional manner
  • Providing concierge services to pilots and customers, including making reservations as required
  • Invoicing for services rendered to customers and pilots
  • Recording customer preferences in our customer relationship management system
  • Proactive preparation for all incoming aircraft
  • Providing timely feedback to the company regarding service failures or customer concerns
  • Partnering with the line service team to meet and exceed customer service expectations
  • Maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, including the front desk, lobby, and all FBO amenities
  • Rotating between front desk duties and cafe duties for at least 1 week every month after training
  • Learning and making a variety of drinks for our cafe customers
  • Providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and menu items

Competencies

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following competencies:

  • Customer focus: naturally outgoing and extroverted, with a passion for delivering exceptional service
  • Communication skills: able to communicate effectively with customers, employees, and team members in person, on the phone, and through radio communications
  • Technical skills: proficient in Microsoft Office products and point of sale programs
  • Basic mathematical knowledge: able to perform basic math calculations and handle cash transactions
  • Physical abilities: able to lift 25 pounds, stand for long periods, and walk throughout the facility to interact with customers
  • Bi-lingual: preferred but not required

Reporting Relationship and Work Environment

This position reports to the Customer Service Manager and operates in a professional environment that may include exposure to all types of weather conditions and direct contact with both moving and non-moving aircraft. As a Customer Service / Cafe Representative at arenaflex, you'll be part of a dynamic team that's passionate about delivering exceptional service and creating unforgettable experiences.

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role include:

  • Lifting 25 pounds
  • Standing for long periods to greet customers and interact with colleagues
  • Walking throughout the facility to provide excellent customer service
  • Possible exposure to hazardous noise levels, chemicals, fumes, and machinery

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a non-exempt position that requires shift work, including evenings, weekends, and scheduled company holidays. No experience is necessary in aviation, but a passion for delivering exceptional service is a must!

No travel is expected for this position.

Education, Experience, and Eligibility Qualifications

* Customer service experience preferably in the service industry

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Entry-level position
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Acceptable driving record
  • Zero-tolerance drug-free employer, including pre-employment and random screening
