Job Summary
As a Senior Analytics Engineer at arenaflex, you will collaborate with a cross-functional team of data analysts, business intelligence engineers, IT professionals, and data scientists to design, develop, and maintain data infrastructure that enables report automation for the arenaflex Medical Services Quality Improvement program – Information and Understanding commercialization. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering execution experiences across arenaflex Health.
Key Responsibilities
* Administers the delivery of arenaflex Health data and insights-driven initiatives and projects
- Upholds long-term and ad-hoc data ETL and data warehousing activities to meet arenaflex Health reporting and analysis expectations
- Plans, develops, and delivers layered data sets and data pipelines to support reporting and analysis projects
- Develops data organizing and pre-processing principles for populating coherent and accurate data models attached to report-specific working tables for both business intelligence and pre-defined reporting arrangements
- Applies data extraction, transformation, and loading best practices to integrate large data sets from various internal arenaflex production system sources and external documents
- Performs data profiling and data analysis across internal production systems, manually maintained data, and standard healthcare data collections (e.g., patient segmentation, clinical cases, pharmacy claims, HEDIS ECDS documents)
- Creates internal tools for automation of all development-related activities (data handling, QA, data validation, etc.)
Essential Capabilities
* Certified, hands-on experience writing and tuning SQL-based ETL/ELT scripts
- Experience designing and delivering properly isolated data environments using ETL/ELT services that include but are not limited to Snowflake, Databricks, or Sky blue Information Factory
- Experience providing thought leadership and presenting device-agnostic semantic data layer enhancements connected with BI technology stages like PowerBI, Tableau, or Looker
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with technical teams, internal stakeholders, clients, and vendor partners
- At least 3 years of experience contributing to business decisions in the workplace
- At least 3 years of direct management, indirect management, or cross-functional team leadership experience
Preferred Capabilities
* Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)
- Experience with pharmacy, healthcare, and clinical research concepts
