Responsibilities

As a Mechanical Customer Service Expert, you'll be responsible for:

  • Handling and carefully responding to all customer inquiries, providing timely and accurate solutions to their needs
  • Providing excellent customer service through active listening, empathy, and a customer-centric approach
  • Working with confidential customer information and treating it sensitively, adhering to arenaflex's strict data protection policies
  • Aiming to resolve issues on the first call by being proactive, resourceful, and creative in your problem-solving approach
  • Appropriately communicating with customers, using clear and concise language to ensure understanding and satisfaction
  • Calmly attempting to resolve and de-escalate any issues, using effective conflict resolution techniques to maintain a positive customer experience
  • Escalating interactions when necessary and appropriate, ensuring that complex issues are addressed promptly and efficiently
  • Tracking all call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes, maintaining accurate records and providing valuable insights to improve customer service processes
  • Providing feedback on call issues, helping to identify areas for improvement and driving continuous quality enhancement

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Ability to work remotely in a virtual team environment, with excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • 6 months of customer service experience, preferably in a mechanical or technical field
  • Over 18 years of age, with a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to type 25 wpm, with strong keyboarding skills and accuracy
  • High school graduate or GED, with a strong foundation in English language and communication
  • Comfort with desktop computer systems, including Windows operating systems and arenaflex's proprietary software
  • Proven oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and solutions clearly
  • Logical problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions
  • Ability to navigate Windows operating systems, with a strong understanding of computer hardware and software
  • Organization and work prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively

Nice-to-Haves

While not essential, the following skills and qualifications would be highly beneficial:

  • Experience working in a mechanical or technical field, with a strong understanding of customer needs and expectations
  • Familiarity with arenaflex's products and services, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Certification in customer service, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Customer Experience Professional (CCEP)
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
