As a full-time Project Associate, you'll play a vital role in supporting our Revenue Recovery Department, working closely with a team of registered nurses, coding professionals, and billing experts to ensure our clients receive the reimbursement they're entitled to. This is a hybrid position, offering a mix of remote and in-office work, with a 2/3 days on-off schedule.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
As a Medical Record/Data Entry Clerk/Project Support Professional, your key responsibilities will include:
- Retrieving patient medical records from various Hospital systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Generating and preparing patient itemized bills in appropriate formats for internal and external audits, adhering to regulatory requirements
- Extracting and entering necessary information from/to Hospital patient accounting systems, maintaining data integrity and accuracy
- Making phone calls to Post Acute Healthcare Facilities to obtain information needed on patients, building strong relationships with healthcare professionals
- Running and creating reports, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Assisting with any other information gathering or data entry as needed by the recovery team, providing support and expertise
- Scanning and indexing of documents, maintaining a secure and organized digital filing system
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on medical terminology, data entry, and administrative skills
- 1-2 years of experience in a medical records or data entry role, with a strong understanding of healthcare systems and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with healthcare professionals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with experience in data entry and analysis
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accuracy and confidentiality in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities
Preferred Qualifications
