Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative – Live Chat Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers through live chat, phone, and email support. Your primary duties will include:

  • Preparing account changes: You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and preferences, and make necessary changes to their accounts to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving customer issues: You will use your active listening skills and technical expertise to identify and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Identifying and acting upon potential new sales opportunities: You will proactively identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our products and services, and work with customers to implement these solutions.
  • Assisting with customer retention: You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and preferences, and develop strategies to retain their business and increase customer loyalty.
  • Working with other departments to ensure timely resolution of customer issues: You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure that customer issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.
  • Negotiating customer prices, service plan payments, and billing issues: You will work with customers to negotiate prices, service plan payments, and billing issues in a fair and transparent manner, consistent with arenaflex's guidelines.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: You must have a high school diploma or equivalent to be considered for this position.
  • 1-2 years in a customer-facing role: You should have at least 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a customer service setting.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment: You must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple customer interactions simultaneously.
  • Excellent telephone skills: You should have excellent telephone skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities: You must be able to troubleshoot complex customer issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Solid negotiating skills: You should have solid negotiating skills, including the ability to negotiate prices, service plan payments, and billing issues in a fair and transparent manner.
  • Computer proficient: You must be proficient in using computers and software applications, including CRM systems and other tools.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field: A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, communications, or customer service, is preferred.
  • Experience in a similar industry: Experience in a similar industry, such as technology or finance, is preferred.
  • Certifications or training: Certifications or training in customer service, sales, or a related field is preferred.
