Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional service to our healthcare provider partners. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Answering incoming phone calls from healthcare providers and identifying the type of assistance they need (e.g., benefit and eligibility, billing and payments, authorizations for treatment, explanation of benefits)
  • Resolving issues on the first call by navigating through complex computer systems to identify the status of the issue and providing an appropriate response to the caller
  • Delivering information and answering questions in a positive manner to facilitate strong relationships with providers and their staff
  • Completing documentation necessary to track provider issues and facilitate the reporting of overall trends
  • Interacting with providers to develop relationships while managing a high volume of calls and developing knowledge of various products and benefits

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must live within 30 miles of Las Vegas, NV
  • Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications
  • Demonstrated ability to listen skillfully, collect relevant information, build rapport, and respond to customers in a compassionate manner
  • Skilled in problem-solving to quickly assess the current state and formulate recommendations
  • Ability to work any 8-hour shift between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM from Monday - Friday

Nice-to-Haves

While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial for this role:

  • 1+ year of experience in a related environment (e.g., office, administrative, clerical, customer service, etc.) using phones and computers as the primary job tools
  • Prior healthcare experience
