Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative - Airport Operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient handling of baggage, cargo, and mail, while providing exceptional customer service to arenaflex passengers. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Safely lifting, loading, unloading, and transporting baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft, in addition to guiding incoming and departing aircraft from the gate positions.
  • Safeguarding cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather.
  • Safely driving and operating ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in areas of congestion.
  • Operating baggage scanners and computers to ensure baggage is routed accurately to the customer's destination.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless airport operations and providing exceptional customer service to arenaflex passengers.

Work Environment and Schedule

As a member of our airport operations team, you will work in a fast-paced environment with varying shifts, including early morning, evening, and overnight shifts. You will also work between 20 and 40 hours per week, based on operational needs and your seniority. What You Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following minimum qualifications:

  • Consistently prioritize safety and security of self, others, and personal data

  • Possess a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
  • Be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States
  • Have a valid driver's license
  • Proficiency in English
  • Pass a physical ability test (PAT)
  • Must wear required company-approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to include, but not limited to: hearing protection, safety-toe footwear, protective headwear (bump cap or hard hat), and high visibility safety apparel subject to an approved accommodation, such as alternate PPE
  • Ability to hold airport-specific requirements such as a SIDA Badge and Customs Seal
