Experienced Remote Data Entry Associate – Healthcare Provider Contract Management

Role Responsibilities:

As a Remote Data Entry Associate at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of provider contract records. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Scrubbing, researching, and validating provider contract records to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Updating status in customer systems to reflect changes and updates
  • Researching and installing healthcare provider contracts, including verification of provider information, contract accuracy, and database loading
  • Retrieving and entering data from computer/web-based systems, files, and other documents
  • Analyzing information collected to identify potential problems and discrepancies
  • Ensuring accurate and timely completion of transactions to meet or exceed client Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Applying healthcare and insurance domain knowledge, theoretical concepts, and problem-solving skills to undertake complex tasks
  • Identifying and resolving both routine and non-routine problems or escalating to more proficient team members
  • Monitoring email boxes and sending responses to inquiries

Required Skills and Experience:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • At least 1+ year of experience in a professional/office-related environment, such as office support, data entry, clerical, or customer service
  • 1+ year of experience using a computer with Windows applications, including keyboard navigation, multiple screens, and computer systems
  • An education level of at least a high school diploma or GED
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, in a professional/office setting
  • Effective troubleshooting skills, leveraging research, analysis, and problem-solving skills
  • Time management skills to cope with a complex, changing environment
  • Knowledge of AS400, Windows-based systems, Excel Spreadsheets, and following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Preferred Qualifications:

While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • Experience with Facets or similar software
  • Knowledge of healthcare and insurance domain concepts
  • Familiarity with data entry software and systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities

Training and Development:

All new hires will be required to successfully complete arenaflex's comprehensive training course and demonstrate proficiency in the material. This will ensure that you have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in your role and contribute to the success of our team.

Schedule and Availability:

The required schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 8AM-4:30PM. However, the shift schedule may be subject to change based on client requirements. Additionally, employees may be required to work overtime based on client needs.

Compensation and Benefits:

The starting hourly range for this remote role is $16-$16.75/hourly. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
