Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative in our Provider Network Support team, you will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional service to our members, providers, and hospitals. This is a fully remote position within the eastern time zone, and you will be required to work a permanent schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:10 am to 4:40 pm. You will receive comprehensive training virtually, and you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a fast-paced, transaction-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a courteous and professional manner

  • Provide exceptional service to members, providers, and hospitals, creating simplicity through effective communication
  • Connect members, providers, and hospitals, ensuring seamless communication and coordination
  • Manage multiple tasks in a high-volume, transaction-based environment
  • Utilize strong computer navigation and typing skills to navigate our systems and tools
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and provide solutions

Requirements

* Experience in a production environment, preferably in a customer-facing role

  • Customer Service experience in a transaction-based environment, such as a call center or retail location, is highly preferred
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to empathize with customers' needs and concerns
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-volume, transaction-based environment
  • Strong computer navigation and typing skills, with the ability to navigate our systems and tools efficiently
  • Ability to work in a remote environment, with minimal supervision

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a transaction-based environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to empathize with customers' needs and concerns
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in a healthcare or insurance environment

  • Certification in customer service, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Customer Service Manager (CCSM)
  • Experience with CRM software, such as Salesforce or Zendesk
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate with customers in multiple languages
