Responsibilities
As an Experienced Customer Service Specialist, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, sales support, and operational excellence in our retail stores. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service, product knowledge, and problem-solving skills
- Assisting customers in person and over the phone by determining their needs and presenting appropriate products and services
- Building productive relationships with wholesale and retail customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions
- Processing sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies and procedures
- Maintaining precise work order files and formulas, ensuring accurate inventory management and control
- Pulling products from the sales floor or warehouse, tinting and mixing products as needed to customer specifications
- Stocking shelves, setting up displays, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment
- Loading and unloading delivery trucks, assisting with deliveries as needed
- Maintaining in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas, ensuring a high level of visual merchandising and store appearance
- Remaining knowledgeable on products offered, discussing available options, and suggesting ways to improve sales
- Complying with inventory control procedures, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of inventory levels
- Suggesting ways to improve sales, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:
- Minimum Requirements:
+ Must be at least 18 years of age + Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future + Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License + Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion + Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Preferred Qualifications:
+ Have at least a High School diploma or GED + Have at least one (1) year experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position + Have previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products + Have previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment + Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language + Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish
