Responsibilities
As a General Manager, Airport Customer Experience, you'll be responsible for the following key areas: ### Key Responsibilities
- Direct and Manage Daily Airport Operations: Direct, manage, and oversee daily airport operation activities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient service for passengers and stakeholders.
- Optimize Station Performance: Assess and execute appropriate resources to optimize station performance, ensuring that our airport operations are running smoothly and efficiently.
- Monitor and Review Station Performance: Regularly monitor, review, and report station performance to identify areas for improvement and ensure that our operations are meeting our high standards.
- Establish and Maintain Relationships: Establish relationships through engagement, collaboration, and inclusiveness with internal and external stakeholders, including local airport authorities and government agencies.
- Coordinate Flight Operations: Manage scheduled, off-scheduled, and charter flight operations to meet performance goals and ensure that our customers receive the best possible service.
- Lead and Develop Employees: Lead, motivate, and develop employees to deliver superior customer service and ensure that our team is equipped to handle the demands of airport operations.
- Manage Budget and Financial Administration: Oversee, monitor, and control budget and manage overall financial administration, ensuring that our operations are financially sustainable and efficient.
- Maintain Safety and Security Standards: Maintain company standards of safety and security, ensuring that our airport operations are compliant with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Partner with Vendors and Contractors: Partner with vendors and contractors to ensure that our airport operations are running smoothly and efficiently.
### Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field or equivalent training/experience.
- 7+ Years of Airline Operations Experience: 7+ years of airline operations experience or relevant experience.
- 4 Years in Supervisory or Management Capacity: 4 years in a supervisory or management capacity (preferred).
- Knowledge of Managing an Operating Budget: Knowledge of managing an operating budget (preferred).
- Strong Organizational and Time Management Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects.
- Understanding of Safety, Compliance, and Regulatory Standards: Understanding of safety, compliance, and regulatory standards associated with flight operations.
- Ability to Work Cohesively with Collective Bargaining Units: Ability to work cohesively with collective bargaining units.
- Demonstrated Collaborative Ability: Demonstrated collaborative ability across departments and with vendors.
- Effective Conflict Resolution Skills: Effective conflict resolution skills.
- Track Record of Exceptional Supervisory, Leadership, and Motivational Skills: Track record of exceptional supervisory, leadership, and motivational skills.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Software: Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
- Valid US Driver's License: Valid US driver's license.
