Key Responsibilities:
As an Experienced Customer Service/Sales Professional, you will be responsible for:
- Providing fast, friendly, and personalized service to customers, actively seeking out their needs and providing assistance to drive sales growth
- Learning about products and services using our tools and providing information to customers to sell entire projects
- Greeting, qualifying, recommending, and closing every customer in your department, as well as handling basics in adjacent departments
- Maintaining the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe
- Providing a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies and standards, completing specified safety training, and reporting hazards or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty
- Working in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department, as well as other departments
- Collaborating with colleagues to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer experiences
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends, products, and services to provide expert advice and recommendations to customers

Essential Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service or sales, preferably in a retail or industry-related environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
* Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field
- 2-3 years of experience in customer service or sales
- Experience working in a retail or industry-related environment
- Knowledge of industry trends, products, and services
- Certification in sales or customer service
