Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, responding to their inquiries, resolving issues, and providing solutions to meet their needs. You will work closely with a team of customer service representatives to achieve overall call center objectives and enhance the customer service function. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your customer service skills, work in a fast-paced environment, and contribute to the success of arenaflex.

Key Responsibilities

* Answer incoming calls from customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Assist existing commercial and residential customers in resolving issues, providing service quotes, and establishing customer accounts
  • Provide high-level customer service, offering alternatives to cancellation requests and identifying opportunities to cross-sell additional products and services
  • Average answering approximately 100 inbound calls per day, with a goal of answering calls in fewer than 12 seconds
  • Establish understanding of customer needs, issues, and requests, and interact with customers and arenaflex employees to determine service, resolve complaints, and escalate complex issues
  • Use the Tower system to gather information, provide information, and update customer records
  • Complete cross-training with other departments, including Operations, Sales, and Billing
  • Strive to meet or exceed service and operational goals established for the call center, including productivity, quality, and timeliness

Other Job Responsibilities

* Attend and participate in corporation-sponsored training courses as assigned

  • Keep up-to-date on current technology, as job-appropriate, being used by arenaflex
  • Perform additional job duties as assigned by the Supervisor

Work Environment

The normal setting for this job is an office environment. No CDL is required.

Qualifications

* Ability to handle a heavy volume of calls in a professional and efficient manner

  • Excellent verbal, written, and analytical skills
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office and strong typing skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work activities
  • Ability to react well under pressure and treat others with respect
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively, both independently and as a team, to ensure exceeding the call center's standards
  • Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities and help build a positive team environment
  • Ability to adapt and deal with frequent changes in the work environment, manage difficult or emotional customer situations, and respond promptly to service
