Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Engineer II to join our team in Southeastern PA and Southern NJ. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for servicing AT (Advanced Therapies) & XP (Xray) equipment, delivering timely and effective repairs, and providing adequate training to operators to ensure optimal system performance. You will also manage financial performance within your territory, establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, and perform necessary administrative duties accurately.

Responsibilities

* Service AT (Advanced Therapies) & XP (Xray) equipment, including installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance

  • Deliver timely and effective repairs, and provide adequate training to operators to ensure optimal system performance
  • Manage financial performance within your territory, including inventory management, time management, and timely service call closure
  • Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers
  • Perform necessary administrative duties accurately, including managing company assets and maintaining accurate records
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues and improve customer satisfaction
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity

Requirements

* Minimum 2+ years of experience in complex electro-mechanical, medical technologist, or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic instruments

  • Proficiency in the use of tools and service test equipment (DMM, Oscilloscope, torque wrenches, etc.)
  • Ability to work individually and in a team setting
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Valid driver's license, ability to drive independently day and night, and good driving record required
  • Physical Requirements: Lifting 50lbs (floor to above waist/head), walking, ladder/stepstool climbing, bending, twisting, sitting work, squatting work, standing work, high-reach, fine grasping manipulation, good vision, and ability to work alone
  • Highly organized and able to plan

Preferred Qualifications

* Technical degree, military training, or equivalent applicable training

  • Experience in testing, repairing, and maintaining capital medical equipment
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • General understanding of the principles of electricity, power supplies, and grounding
